Installing Codeigniter is Easy..Follow the below step to install codeinigter on xampp.
1.Step 1:
Download Codeigniter from https://codeigniter.com/download
2.Step 2:
Unzip the folder.
3.Step 3:
Place it now in your ROOT folder of PHP. (Means either “www” or “htdocs” etc).Now Rename the Folder Codeigniter-3.1.4 to Codeigniter.
4.Step 4:
Now Run your Web Browser and run the url: http://localhost/codeigniter
Once You run it you will see the below result:
